Medical Therapy for Sinus Disorders

Sinusitis Treatment: Dr. Shea’s Approach to Medical Therapy
At Shea ENT, we follow the established guidelines for treating sinusitis. After complete evaluation of the sinus problem, medical therapy is considered, including:

• Oral antibiotics
• Oral steroids, usually 5 days 
• Xylitol / saline nasal irrigations
• Xylitol nasal spray
• Allertol allergy drops
